Thomas Plant Hire Ltd is a well-established, family-run business that has grown to become a leading plant hire company operating nationwide. Due to ongoing growth, we are looking to recruit a committed and motivated Hire Desk Administrator to join our Head Office team in Caerwys.
This is a key position supporting our busy Hire Desk. The successful candidate will handle customer enquiries, process hire orders, and assist with administrative tasks across departments. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow within a dynamic business.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls and emails professionally and efficiently
- Process hire orders and provide quotes using our pricing system
- Deliver excellent customer service at every stage of the hire process
- Support internal departments with administrative duties
- Maintain accurate records and follow internal procedures
- Work collaboratively as part of a close-knit, supportive team
Candidate Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised, reliable, and able to prioritise tasks effectively
- Confident using IT systems and email platforms
- Able to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Customer-focused with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
- Previous experience in administration, plant hire, or sales is desirable (but not essential – full training will be provided)
